Often people say, "I'm just not very creative". The truth is, we are all creative whether for good or bad. If our creativity isn't channeled in a positive way, it will come out in another form. One example is #gossip. Who would have thought that gossip is creative. But gossip is really about creating story, usually based in some truth but with a lot of false embellishments thrown in. In life and in business, gossip can destroy relationships, steal time from important achievement, create sadness and anger in individuals and destroy confidence. Focusing creative energy on something positive builds confidence, generates new ideas, connects us to each other and the world and helps us see everyone with fresh eyes. It strengthens our inner world.
Learning to choose positive creativity over negative creativity can be a challenge. We've build up years of the habit of gossip, but it's possible to change that. it's all about realization and taking lots of little steps to embrace a creative thing we love to do (ie painting, cooking, building something with wood, architecture, photography, etc., etc.), but not giving up when we've stumbled in our quest to build a strong inner life, when we've screwed up and said something about another person that can hurt them and hurt our-self in the end. This is all heavy stuff, but worth caring about.
"#Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day-in and day-out." -Robert Collier

If you feel you don't have a creative bone in your body and wonder what creative activity you might enjoy, check out online sources such as YouTube in an area you might have had interest in in the past but life kind of forced it into the back seat and that creative activity was 'put on the shelf'. As long as we are still alive and breathing, we might as well make our life a happy place. You can actually learn something in 10 minutes a day.
